If you’re a shared owner of a house and we own the freehold of your home, then on 100% staircasing you’ll acquire the freehold from us. On certain developments we are not the freeholder so when you staircase to 100%, you will remain a leaseholder.

For leaseholders of houses (this does not include Shared Ownership), you’ll need to have owned your home for more than two years* and have a lease term for more than twenty one years.  The steps involved in a freehold purchase are here.
